5th Feb 2012 - had a Laughing Session at block 31Chai Chee-SunLove elderly SAC. Thanks to Doris for organizing this session. Present on today's session: Danny, Doris, Lim, Ming and Mum. These are elderly staying around the block. Sunlove-Senior Activity Centre (SACs) is located at the void decks of selected 1- and 2-room HDB rental blocks. Seniors living in these blocks are encouraged to spend the day at SACs which provide opportunities for interaction and exercise. SACs encourage seniors to remain integrated in society through community outreach programmes and social recreational activities.
Although we have only 45 mins. session, the elderly are already asking us when we are coming back to have more fun with them . These group consisting of 30 out of the 100 elderly staying in block 31 really had a good time. see the movie yourself lah...hahaha!!!
My journey with Laughter Yoga. It all begins with a CLYL session with Jean follow by a 5 days CLYT session in India with Dr Madan Kataria. Now I am laughing for no reasons...ha-ha-ha!!!
